Courses of Study in the Practical Nursing Program at MJCTC, Lewistown, PA

A large class reunion was held on Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 2-5 PM at Derry Township Park in Lewistown, PA. We invited all graduates from any of the past 100 classes to attend this reunion - including those who attended the Mill Creek Practical Nursing Program from 1983 - 2000. We invited former Coordinators and Instructors as well. There were photos of most of the 100 classes displayed, as well as other articles and yearbooks. Stories and/or testimonials of former graduates that were submitted were made into a booklet for the event. Light refreshments were served. Guessing games for prizes were won by two of our current students. The number of rubber gloves in the bedpan was won by Autum Carpenter a member of Class 100 and the number of tongue depressors in the jar was won by Cristin Zook a member of Class 101. A cinch bag and a pack of post-it notes was given to the first guests to attend. There were approximately 50 former students and faculty present at the event and everyone enjoyed reminiscing about old times.
